“Fans of SF thrillers will enjoy this colorful high-tech mystery and its echoes of the present-day hunger for likes, favorites, and going viral.”
"Sci-fi fans will want to read this story of #SocialMediaDystopianism before it becomes a reality."
“Hugely engaging, strange, dangerous and quite unlike anything you’ve read before. Original, techno-paranoid sci-fi at its finest.”
I am a former digital advertising executive in Los Angeles, with behind-the-scenes knowledge of our current social media and data revolution. Experiences in this world opened my eyes to the potential misuse of this technology. You can read about some of my experiences (and how they shaped Neon Empire): Generation #Ad, Engines of Polarization and We're All in a Tabloid Now.
Before moving to LA, I lived in Barcelona and Paris, where I worked as a freelance writer, ghostwriter, and digital consultant. I've had fiction published in 3AM Magazine, Word Riot, Litro Magazine, and other publications. I also wrote a fictional crime column for weekly newspapers in Spain.

Bedroom Revolutionaries (out of print)
I am currently working on a continuation to Neon Empire, called Beyond Empire. It takes place one year after the events in Neon Empire, in radically new surroundings.
Led by an eccentric media magnate, a group of disillusioned influencers take over a small island in the Seychelles, hoping to create their own private, unconnected paradise. But their peace is soon threatened by outside attention, and their leader becomes paranoid and deranged, sensing betrayal in her ranks.
Drop me a line. You can also follow some nonfiction work that I occasionally post to Medium.
